This reception for this wedding was held in the garden of one of the relatives. Due to Corona virus restrictions I was not allowed at the ceremony but the reception was wonderful.
Another fairly small post-lockdown wedding in Swansea. The bride wore a beautiful black wedding dress and white Doc Marten boots.
I also set up a little studio so that the guests could have studio quality pictures taken.
This wedding in Blackwood was on a Thursday which is becoming a popular day for weddings due to availability and pricing. The bridal party were staying at the venue and I had a great time with them during the bridal preparations. The groom made a spectacular entrance in a Lamborghini Aventador which we could hear from half a mile away. The weather was fantastic if a bit cold but everyone had a fabulous time.
The venue for this wedding was Craig-Y-Nos Castle on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons. Set amongst some beautiful countryside, this venue is apparently the most haunted hotel in Wales and has been featured on many TV shows. A unique feature of this venue is the tiny theatre that was used by the original owner of the castle, renowned opera singer Adelina Patti.
The bride and groom had already had their wedding ceremony in Las Vegas and so chose to show the wedding video to their guests in the tiny theatre complete with popcorn!
This wedding was at the spectacular Clearwell Castle which is a privately run castle in the Forest of Dean. It is a fabulous setting for a wedding with beautiful gardens.
This wedding was really unusual. Firstly, the ceremony and reception were within walking distance of each other so it was a fabulous sight to see the entire wedding party walking along together like a tourist group from one venue to another. In addition to this, it was Pride weekend in Cardiff so that also gave us the opportunity of taking some great pictures. There was a face painter at the reception so there were also lots of very colourful guests.
At the reception we setup two separate areas for the gusts to have their photos taken and they were also given the opportunity to have their favorite pictures printed for them to take home with them.
This was a lovely low-key wedding held in a local registry office and then in a village hall. The atmosphere was very relaxed and informal which is exactly what the bride and groom wanted.
We are often invited to cover smaller registry office weddings and this was one of those held in Weston-super-Mare. It was a very simple but very sweet wedding with the bridal party moving to their favorite restaurant for their wedding breakfast.
This wedding currently holds the record for being the closest to where we live, the venue was literally a 5 minute walk for us. This couple were very relaxed about their day and this lead to a lovely ceremony.
This wedding was held at Llechwen Hall near Pontypridd on a very changeable day. We were very lucky to have periods during which it wasn’t raining and we were able to make great use of the beautiful grounds. Llechwen Hall is a great venue with many different locations. There is a dedicated marquee for the reception which offers many different options.
A lovely traditional wedding in Cambridgeshire. The weather was fantastic and the locations were perfect. The reception was held at a wildlife park and I got the opportunity of shooting the newly weds with a crocodile!
This couple at this wedding specifically wanted black and white pictures and I think the results are fantastic. The wedding was held in a local registry office and the reception was in a very trendy London restaurant. All the guests had a fantastic time and I think the atmosphere of the wedding is captured in the pictures.
We were asked to cover this Somalian wedding in the Temple of Peace in Cardiff. The room had been fabulously decorated and the celebrations were incredible. It was not anything like a traditional wedding and it was great to be part of such a joyous day.
This was a lovely traditional wedding in the South Wales Valleys. The guests had a fabulous time well into the night and we were there to capture the special moments.
We were very pleased to be invited to take the photograph at this intimate wedding. The ceremony was held in a registry office and the couple then wanted to visit various location that were special to them. The family then moved on to a local luxury hotel to finish off the day with a fabulous meal in a private dining room.
This traditional wedding was held in the beautiful West Country village of Thornbury. The weather was terrible when we arrived at the church but thankfully it was beautiful sunshine after the ceremony.
This was our first wedding after lockdown. As such, it was a very small affair in Weston-super-Mare registry office and then at a local park.
This was actually a wedding proposal shoot. We decided on the clifftops at Barry Island and the results we got were fabulous. Luckily, the lady in question said Yes!
